Gilles Kayem est professeur de gynécologie obstétrique à Sorbonne Université et chef du service de gynécologie obstétrique à l’hôpital Trousseau (APHP). Il est chercheur associé à l’équipe OPPALE (UMR1153) en épidémiologie obstétricale, périnatale et pédiatrique. Il assure des enseignements en médecine, notamment comme directeur scientifique du DIU de pathologies et urgences périnatales (Sorbonne Université/CHU Bordeaux) et du DU d’approfondissement en gynécologie pour la pratique de ville. Il est également co-président du conseil scientifique du Collège National des Gynécologues Obstétriciens Français (CNGOF) et rédacteur en chef de la revue Gynécologie Obstétrique Fertilité & Sénologie. Il a obtenu plusieurs financements pour des projets de recherche, notamment les PHRC nationaux ANTIPROM (2023) et TOCOKIDS (2023), ainsi que le PHRC régional Optinéocare (2019).
